Artifact 2- what motivates people and groups to explore written assessment

                                 Portfolio reflection Grade 5

        I included this item of work in my portfolio because it both shows writing and brainstorming evidence on one paper. I also included it because I learned a lot about different explorers. I learned a lot about them because  we had to give examples of motivations in different explorers, I used Amelia Earheart to show inquiry, she didn't want money or fame, she just wanted to see what was out there. My next learning step would be to research even more about explorers and to try to do an independent mini-project. My learning goal for this unit was to learn as much as I can and to understand as much as I can of the facts about explorers.
